Auzengate Genetics

After years of building our herd, we are now pleased to offer many quality animals for sale. We have multiple offspring and proven producers with Auzengate, Hemingway and Royal Fawn genetics.

ShaDo Alpacas is our home as well as a working farm. If you are interested in learning more about alpacas to enter the business, or if you want to look at our animals to add to your existing herd,
please contact us to schedule an appointment for a farm visit. We do not allow visitors to the farm without an appointment or confirmed farm tour (pre-payment is required for farm tours.)

Requests for visits of this type can generally be accommodated on weekends. We are not available for weekday visits at this time.

Visitors interested in just seeing alpacas or looking for a fun activity are welcome to join us on our scheduled open barn days. We generally have at least two open farm weekends a year, along with open farm days periodically as our schedule allows.

These events will be posted on our News and Events page and on our Facebook page and will include farm tours and activities for our visitors.

We can also host a private event or groups that include a farm tour, interactive experience with the alpacas and/or fiber craft activity. Please contact us for pricing for a private event or special group tours.

We do not rent out or exhibit our alpacas off of the farm. We are not a petting zoo, and are not open to the public outside posted open farm days or private appointments as previously described.

Our most recent updates for farm store hours and special events can be found on our Facebook page.

Welcome to ShaDo Alpacas at Midway Ranch. Please note, our farm is not open to the public. All farm visits are by appointment only; however, due to COVID-19 restrictions we are NOT accepting farm visitors or requests for tours at this time. You may contact as via email or Facebook to get our our mailing list for when we are able to resume these activities.

We are a small farm located in Monroe, Washington. We strive to improve the quality of every Alpaca produced, through the use of superior genetics. Our herd consists of solid foundation females, with planned cria from some of the best fiber producing genetics this country has to offer. Our males provide outstanding genetics from Hemingway, Camilio and Compadre and some up and coming jr Herdsires featuring the genetics of Caligula, Danko and Drambuie. We believe strongly in the use of EPD's and sort records to improve our herd, one cria at a time.
