Welcome to ShaDo Alpacas at Midway Ranch. We are a small farm located in Monroe, Washington. Our love of alpacas began with a simple question, "What exactly IS an alpaca?" All it took was one google search to fall in love, and a few farm visits later, we were on our way to creating our farm. We started off with a package that included four beautiful females and two spunky males. Shortly after that, we added two delightful geldings and two stunning herdsires. We also added a livestock guardian dog to keep watch over the herd.

We are currently building our herd by breeding our girls to superior males with the goal of improving each generation through solid breeding choices. We strive to improve the quality of every alpaca produced, through the use of superior genetics. Our foundation herd consists of 4 solid females, with planned cria from some of the best genetics this country has to offer. Our males provide outstanding genetics from Hemingway, Camilio and Compadre. We believe strongly in the use of EPDs to improve our herd, one cria at a time.

We love meeting other alpaca owners, and have simply been amazed by all of the wonderful people we have met since we began this adventure. We welcome visitors to our farm, just give a call or send an email to set up a visit. Check back often, as we plan to offer additional services on our site in the future.
