August Rose (Rosie) is a lovely young lady with an easy going temperament. She is shy, and not yet halter trained but is easy to handle for herd health and shearing. She is currently a member of our foundation herd.
Rosie has lovely fawn fleece with a grey spot on her shoulder. During this year's shearing, we discovered that she is actually a light rose gray, with lovely fiber. Histogram results pending, but she is a grade 2 -- she and Katoomba should be a perfect match.
Rosie and Katoomba had a delightful rose gray male cria in 2013. Oliver is a very popular with farm visitors and will be available for sale in 2014.
In 2014, Rosie delivered a stunning little girl, sired by our own Rustenale (Blue Ribbon fiber winner.) This little girl is dark fawn/modern rose gray -- we'll know her coloring for certain after her first shearing, but the quality of her fiber is exceptional.
We are very pleased with her first two cria since joining our herd, and can't wait to see else she can do!
