Well, what can we say about Gus? He chose to arrive during our National Alpaca Farm Days event during a wind and rain storm. So, we knew he'd have to have "GUST" somewhere in his name!

This little guy does not disappoint. With MSA Peruvian Bertolini as his sire and PI Cashew as his dam, Gus is a genetic powerhouse. Hemingway, Felix, Pachacutti AND Auzengate all in one amazing package. We do not want to let him go, but at the moment we do have multiple animals in the herd with related genetics and we will not make a final decision on him as a herdsire until later in 2015. His first fleece was amazing with an AFD of 20.4 and SD of 3.9. His EPD rankings are available on his fiber stat page, fiber samples also available.

Gus is very smart, curious but reserved. He is very easy to handle and will be halter trained very soon.
